Nitro was found as a stray and is approx 1 yr old. He is a big boy tipping the scale at 62 pounds.
He is very active and needs training this will be a requirement of his adoption to ensure that he will be a good member of the dog and human societies. He gets along with other dogs but is a lot bigger and more active and needs to learn some boundaries which will come with proper training and socialization. This boy likes to run, he is sneaky and will bolt out of any door, car or gate to get away so for his safety a fenced yard is required since he has no recall skills and does not listen once he is out and free (could explain why he was found as a stray) this will be an issue that needs to be addressed in his training.
He also has a neck phobia, he does not like a collar around his neck and must wear a harness only, he also does not like being grabbed by the nap of the neck either.
He has double cherry eye and needs be neutered, other than that he is very healthy. These surgeries are scheduled for Wednesday Oct 29th.
He has not yet been completely evaluated at this time so other restrictions may apply at a later date so please check back.
